    Description

The item for sale is an original 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Stamp Book. This book was intended to cut the stamps apart and affix them to the page for each Dodger player. This book is as originally issued with the stamp pages still intact in the book. This happened to be the only year the Brooklyn Dodgers won the World Series making it all the more important piece of Dodger memorabilia. In addition, a young rookie named Sandy Koufax had his own page and stamp which would be considered a rookie issue of the HOF pitcher.
The book itself has some wear as seen in the pictures. The front cover has a corner bend on the bottom right and the back cover has a small tear near the top. The two individual stamp pages are in nice condition overall. The Jackie Robinson stamp on the bottom right hand corner of the first page has a corner bend as shown. The regular Robinson and Koufax stamps also have bend/crease in bottom right hand corner as shown.
This is a tough Brooklyn collectible that dates to their only World Series Championship.
