1960 All Star Game program -
The cover of the 1960 All Star program in New York has a beautiful illustration of action at home plate with a spectacular view of Yankee Stadium.  There wasn't much action at home plate for the American Leaguers though as six National League pitchers limited them to no runs and just one double and seven singles in a 6-0 whitewashing.  Local favorite Whitey Ford was tagged for three runs over the first three innings of the game, and that was all the offense the NL wound need, although they added another three later in the game.  Four NL hitters homered - Eddie Mathews a 2-run shot and solo homers from Willie Mays, Stan Musial and Ken Boyer.
The program has photos of all of the players as well as the managers and coached of both teams.  There are also linescores and summaries of previous games and a brief feature on the first All Star Game in 1933.
The starters for the National League - Mays, Bob Skinner, Henry Aaron, Ernie Banks, Joe Adcock, Mathews, Bill Mazeroski, Del Crandall and starting pitcher Vern Law.
The AL lineup - Minnie Minoso, Pete Runnels, Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle, Bill Skowron, Yogi Berra, Frank Malzone, Ron Hansen and Ford.
