This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL is finished in Papyrus White with a dark blue hardtop over blue leather and reportedly was purchased by the previous owners grandfather out of Germany in 1971 showing ~30k kilometers. The car was brought to Santa Barbara, California shortly thereafter and has remained within the same family in Southern California for the past 48 years. The odometer now shows 55k kilometers and is said to have rolled over once. Power comes from a 2.8-liter inline-six paired with an automatic transmission. This Pagoda SL is now offered with a factory hardtop, a maintenance booklet and service file, its data card, and a clean California. Engine #130983-12-008199 matches the data card as original to this car. The car runs and drives nicely and has just around 96,000 original miles.
