2004 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 2004 Mercedes SL500

Description

2004 Mercedes SL500, red with beige leather interior, 68k miles. Runs and drives excellent, body is very good. Body does have 4 spots of clear coat missing(see pics.) Mechanically excellent. Tires are like new, brakes recently done. Top doesn't operate. I hear the motor, but it doesn't move. Battery light is on in dash, but when the odometer button is clicked it disappears until the car is started again. My mechanic tested both batteries and alternator, and they hold a good charge. Batteries were also recently replaced. Minor interior cosmetics that I haven't got to: both window buttons are missing, but windows still operate as normal. Small trim on the driver's door is coming off (pic). And the under seat compartment on the driver's seat doesn't properly stay closed, needs a new latch. Everything else works as it should. The AC stopped working last week. The AC off button won't go off. My mechanic says that usually means that it needs freon. But Mercedes might have to reset the climate control system.
