    Description

    Vintage and original May 30, 1940 Boston Red Sox vs New York Yankees doubleheader baseball program from Yankee Stadium.  The program is dated on the cover.  It is not scored but there are some small notations on the scorecard page.  In game 1 the Yankees won 2-0 Bill Dickey hit a home run,Joe Dimaggio had a double, Red Ruffing was credited with the win and Lefty Grove suffered the loss.  In game 2 Boston beat New York 11-4.  Joe DiMaggio and Joe Cronin hit home runs.  The program is in good shape with
    a 2.5" split on the bottom of the spine.
