    Description

Up for auction is an original bound volume of newspapers titled "The Boston Evening Transcript" from October 1919. Published (6) days a week (no Sundays). Papers measure approx. 23" X 17" in size. Contains coverage of the 1919 World Series between the Chicago White Sox and the Cincinnati Reds that took (9) games to decide.
I could not find any player or team photos!
However there are box scores (not all), composite scores and articles. I saw a small paragraph that mentions Babe Ruth hitting a home run for the Lynn Coronets (local team?) in an exhibition game against the Red Sox. There is also many articles regarding the end of WWI and much more.
Sold as is. Please see photos! More photos available. Please ask any questions prior to bidding! Thanks for looking!
