    Description

    This uncirculated 500 Romanian leu banknote is dated April 1991 and signed by Dr. Mugur Constantin Isarescu. It is a brown, blue-green, yellow, and red banknote that measures 160 mm x 77 mm. Its obverse side shows the BNR monogram, a rosette detail from Brancusi’s Gate of the Kiss, and a portrait of Constantin Brancusi. Its reverse side shows the Endless Column, an hourglass seat, a rosette detail, and a portrait of Constantin Brancusi with crossed arms sitting on a round stone Table of Silence. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Constantin Brancusi.
